Canoe School - Paddle Canada’s flat-water levels A-C

This weekend course will instruct participants on how to maneuver a canoe in flat water conditions. All basic paddling strokes will be taught, as well as safety, environmental awareness and rescues. Participants will receive professional instruction in a 10:1 student to instructor ratio. All successful candidates will receive Paddle Canada’s certification for flat-water levels A-C.

Held at the Glenn Carpenter Centre on June 6-7 between 8 am -4:30 pm

An evening of Canoe & Cuisine.

A course that will have you and a friend or significant other learning the basic principles of canoeing in order to enjoy the serene beauty of Ashburn lake at the Glenn Carpenter Centre. Paddlers will travel across the lake to a secluded destination where they will be treated to a gourmet meal by camp fire, while being instructed on how to cook on trip.

Meal and equipment included.

Held at the Glenn Carpenter Centre. June 3 & June 10. Time: 5 pm-8:30 pm

Cost: $75 a couple.
