Has your child been affected by a life altering crisis like divorce or death of a parent?
The YMCA-YWCA offers a safe and supportive environment for children, youth and adults to process their feelings through a unique peer support program.
Rainbows is an International not-for-profit organization that fosters emotional healing among children, youth and adults grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis.
The curriculum is designed to assist children, youth and adults who are grieving a death, divorce or any other painful transition in their family within a safe, supportive environment with a unique peer assisted program.
Our trained volunteers facilitate these programs in numerous community sites throughout the Greater Saint John Area.
The YMCA-YWCA offers the following Rainbows programs:
- SunBeams -Â Preschool children
- Rainbows -Â Elementary children
- Spectrum -Â Youth & Teenagers
- Kaleidoscope -Â Adults with recent or childhood loss
- Prism – Single and Step-parents
- Silver Linings -Â Community Crisis Response Program
