• Those inquiring about Assisted Memberships must visit us and have a tour of our facility so we can explain our pricing and how our Assisted Membership program works.
• After you have taken a tour of the facility you must make an appointment to discuss your financial situation with our professional staff (All information remains confidential).
• You must pick up an Assisted Membership Application package at the time of making your appointment. All documents must be completed.
• Failure to show-up to your designated appointment may result in you not obtaining a membership in a timely fashion. Your commitment is needed to keep your appointment.
• Approval for a membership is based on need not on the individuals willingness to pay the published fee.

Membership Privileges
Memberships at the Saint John YMCA-YWCA are all inclusive. Our membership fees include all our facilities (WELLNESS CENTRE etc.)  There are also a variety of programs and classes that are included in your membership.

As a member you have access to:

START IT UP RIGHT ORIENTATION - you can choose one, two or all three sessions to help you get started with fitness. At the end you will have a complete fitness plan for you to follow.

SPECIAL MEMBERS RATES - all of our programs have a member reduced rate. It is our way of showing our members that we care and appreciate them choosing the Y.

FIRST CHOICE OF PROGRAMS - each session we allow our members to have the first chance to register for our programs. Many times our programs will fill with members so it is always good to register early each session.

ONE MEMBERSHIP...VALID AROUND THE WORLD - your membership is honoured at ALL Y's around the world. Maybe you are just traveling in the Maritimes? Stop by for a workout at the NEW Moncton Y. They will be happy to see you.

FITNESS EQUIPMENT - choose from over 5,500 sq. ft. of conditioning area equipment. Over 25 pieces of cardio, 3 lines of circuit equipment, free weights, dumbbells and benches and TV's.

LOCKER ROOMS - temporary locker use is available - you cannot store your possessions longer than your visit and you must provide your own lock. Lockers are available for annual rental. Full size lockers, spacious shower area, wet and dry areas and hair dryers.

TOWELS - towel rental and towel service can be added to your monthly membership fee.

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES - choose from over 20 different fitness classes per week. From toning to Yoga. We have it all.
