Childcare and Afterschool
Preschool / Play School – This program offers the New Brunswick’s Early Learning Curriculum and the YMCA’s Playing To Learn Curriculum.
- Ages 3 to 5 years
- Full time students
- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 12pm
- Part time students
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 12pm
Full Day After School Program
- The “Y” provides programs for children during the school professional development days and on snow days. Children enjoy a wide variety of activities on these days. Children are asked to bring lunch, drinks and snacks on full days. This is also offered to children who are not in the after school program.
- This is on a first come first served basis.
- Monday – Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm
- “Y” afterschool students $15 a day
- General Public $30 a day
Jazzy Chef
- This cooking program offers the children a chance to explore other cultures through music and culinary experiences. They will enjoy the music of another culture while cooking a delicious dish from there.
- Ages 7 to 12
- Saturday 11:30am to 12:30pm
“Y” Drama Club
- Another new program to the YMCA Quispamsis this year. Do you have a child that loves to act with their friends? This club will feature 2 plays per year for family and friends. The children will learn the classics while making friends and creating scenery. First class runs from January to April.
- Thursday 6:15 to 7:30pm
YMCA Musical
- If your child loves to dance and sign this is for them! We are holding a High School Musical group for students of all ages. They will learn dancing and signing with a performance for the whole family at the end. This is the latest craze for students of all ages. All skill levels and ages are welcome.
- Tuesdays 6:30pm to 7:45pm
Birthday Party Packages
- Throw your child a birthday party that all the children will love.
- Party includes
- T-shirt for the birthday child
- 2 12’ pizzas
- Juice and utensils
- Dairy Queen or Superstore cake
- Supervised by a Y staff
- Games
- Based on a 12 children maximum
- Parties must be booked at least 1 week in advance
